FORART Friends of Ruyton Art

This group is committed to providing opportunities for Ruyton parents to support the Art Department and enable parents to meet and interact with other families whose children are passionate about Art. Anyone interested in joining is welcome at any time!

Muse Exhibition

This exhibition showcased the outstanding work of students from Pre-prep to VCE, including paintings, drawings, sculpture and student videos.

Lyon Housemuseum Tour

ForART organised a successful tour and afternoon tea at the inspiring Lyon Housemuseum. It was a wonderful opportunity to view this notable collection of Australian Art in the unique environment of a house that is a museum and a home.

Artist in Residence

ForART was involved in the selection of the artist-in-residence, Jan Saric. During the second half of 2011 Jan will be working with interested girls on a mosaic project, to be installed in the underpass near the Senior School art rooms.

ForART Proposal for an Art Exhibition and Fundraiser

ForArt proposed to create an event involving the students and the wider Ruyton community to support the Art Department and Junior School Centre for Creativity. Artworks will be exhibited anonymously, and will be open to the highest bidder for purchase. This was scheduled for May 13th 2011.
