At our last meeting for the year we farewelled a number of long term members. We are currently seeking a Co-President and also to increase our numbers, preferably from year levels further down the school. The majority of current members will be exiting at the end of 2011 so we do wish to recruit.

At the Waverley Eisteddfod Minimads were placed 1st place and the String Things came 2nd. Paganini Strings gained 1st place in the Boroondara Eisteddfod Large Instrumental Section.
Great News!
Mrs Carolyn Anderson has offered to purchase new instruments just for Year 5 (approx $13000).
We have ended the 2009 with a small balance in our account.
Projects for 2010
Support for the schedule of performances and concerts, plus a focus on the Music Tour to America in September 2010 and also to provide any extras that we can for the new music facility in The Centre for Creativity (Junior School redevelopment).
