Perhaps the most exciting event this year was the China Tour. Nine Year 9 girls studying Chinese visited our sister schools in Tainan, Taiwan and Beijing. During the tour, they attended classes in these schools and interacted with Chinese students, learning much about the other students as well as about themselves! They experienced ‘hands–on’ the Chinese way of life and their education system. The girls also visited historical sites and saw some amazing scenery in Beijing, Shanghai, Datong and Tainan. It was truly ‘Chinese immersion’ for all 16 days of their tour.
